From a distance, a piece of art glass (molded into a vase) included several shades of pinks and reds. However, using a macro lens, I was able to focus on a small section where several colors of glass could be distinguished intertwined with one another. This picture allows the viewer to appreciate the spectacular beauty, color and detail present in the piece. Original glass artist: unknown. Canon 5D; Canon EF 100 mm Macro, f/2.8 lens ( 0.3 sec, f/8, 100 mm, ISO 320).

In another piece of art glass, a small bubble could be barely discerned. Perhaps considered a defect, with the aid of the macro lens, one can see the wonderful shape and range of colors generated by the trapped air. Original glass artist: unknown. Canon 5D; Canon EF 100 mm Macro, f/2.8 lens ( 0.6 sec, f/8, 100 mm, ISO 320).
